Racist Rob Parker Can’t Help Himself

They used to say the last refuse of a scoundrel was religion. Samuel Johnson said it was patriotism. But in 21st century America, the last refuse of a scoundrel is “context.” Racist sports analyst Rob Parker, currently on 30 day suspension from ESPN, has essentially doubled-down on his cornball brother statement about Robert Griffin III despite having apologized earlier. Like most who get caught with their foot in their mouth, he blames the listeners for taking him out of context.

“It was just a conversation that’s had in the black community when athletes, or famous entertainers or whatever, push away from their people. And that’s really what it’s about. You saw it with O.J. Simpson, and some other people, where they say, ‘Well I’m not black, I’m O.J.’ So it’s more about that, not about RGIII and what’s going on. It’s more about this thing that we’ve battled for years and why people have pushed away from their people. It’s more about that.”

The only thing RGIII has done to “push away” from “his people” that we know of is he’s become a self-made man; a success. Sadly, this is the standard definition given to an “Uncle Tom” or the newly minted “Cornball Brother.” Is it RGIII’s responsibility now that he’s a millionaire athlete to bring others along with him for the ride? Is setting an example for others to follow not enough? For racists like Rob Parker, it’s the ultimate sin. Parker doesn’t mind black people being rich as long as they act like thugs, marry black girls, support the welfare state and generally make asses of themselves to everyone around them.

“I wasn’t saying that he wasn’t black enough,” Parker said. “And so when people say that…it’s just not true…I was saying these are the conversations that take place once a guy pushes away. So, it was never aimed at him or I was calling him that. I’m saying these are the conversations that take place.”

I don’t know a lot about RGIII’s personal life and whether he’s “pushed away” people he grew up with. Maybe he has…none of my business, but based on my reading of RGIII, the man, I doubt he had many thugs in his life to push away. In short, RGIII has captured the American Dream and that’s what really gets under the skin of men like Parker, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and the rest. You can make a lot of money, but as a black man you must bow down to their alter or be labeled accordingly. Down for the struggle? Struggle’s over. RGIII won.

Get Over It, White America

So I finally got around to watching this clip of film critic (is that even a real job?) Jake Hamilton interviewing Samuel L. Jackson and refusing to say the “N-word” despite prodding from the star of Django Unchained. Granted, Jackson is being a dick about it, trying to make a white man squirm which is what the N-word is all about for black people. Yet, this pussy Hamilton seems like he wouldn’t say the word unless he was water-boarded.

Words have power if you give them power. If you use the N-word in the context of discussion about the word, there’s nothing wrong with that. Nigger. There, see? No one died. I’m not calling anyone a nigger, I’m talking about the word nigger.

What does the word nigger mean? In its original context it meant “lesser,” “subhuman.” The white man would call a black man a nigger as a way of telling him you are less than me, you’re genetically inferior, a mutant, thus I devalue you. We know that this is not the case in reality. Thus, the black culture rightly adopted the word in order to devalue its evil meaning, but now it’s used as a weapon to blackmail(!) white people into believing that in their hearts they must be racist and thus should give all their money to the government or some such nonsense. Just watch Maxine Waters speak for 10 seconds if you don’t get what I mean.

Non-racist whites need to stop living in fear of the racist label.

 

Classic: Pelosi Gives Clyburn Made-Up Job Title

This is the cherry atop the hypocritical race-pandering sundae known as the Democrat Party.

Under the compromise, Maryland Rep. Steny Hoyer, the current House majority leader will become the Democratic whip, which will be the number two spot in the new Democratic minority.

South Carolina Rep. James Clyburn agreed to end his bid for that spot and instead hold a new, third ranking leadership post that will be created for him. The sources say the title and portfolio for the spot is yet to be determined.

When the Democrats become the minority party in the House they lose the position of Speaker, a shift that left Hoyer and Clyburn jockeying for the House minority whip position.

The deal allows Rep. John Larson of Connecticut to keep his post as Democratic caucus chairman and Rep. Xavier Becerra to remain as the vice chair of the Democratic caucus.

The white guys get to keep the real and important leadership posts and the black guy gets a no-show figurehead post. Everybody wins!

UPDATE: Even more pathetic than we could have imagined. Clyburn given title of “Assistant (to the) Leader.” The House Democrats have become The Office.

Gordon Brown Meets Mrs. Duffy

Move over Joe the Plumber…there’s a new voice of the people! UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown shows once again how a career politician just can’t go toe-to-toe with regular folk.

BLUNDERING Gordon Brown has been caught on microphone calling a voter a “bigot”.

The Prime Minister was heard describing an exchange he had just had with lifelong Labour supporter Gillian Duffy, 65 — on the campaign trail in Rochdale, Lancs, today — as a “disaster”.

He made the comments as he got into his car after speaking to Mrs Duffy — not realising that he still had the Sky News mic pinned to his shirt.

He told an aide: “That was a disaster – they should never have put me with that woman. Whose idea was that? It’s just ridiculous.”

She tackled him on a series of issues including the national debt, taxes, student financing and immigration.

Mrs Duffy, a widow, said she was “very disappointed” with Mr Brown’s remarks.

After hearing what the Prime Minister had said about her, she said it was “very upsetting”.

She added: “He’s an educated person, why has he come out with words like that?

“He’s supposed to lead this country and he’s calling an ordinary woman who’s just come up and asked questions what most people would ask him – he’s not doing anything about the national debt and it’s going to be tax, tax, tax for another 20 years to get out of this mess – and he’s calling me a bigot.”

Of course the first thing that gets me – having worked in video production my whole career – is how a trained politician can be so careless around microphones. When you’re miked up, you have to go into a different mode that doesn’t end when the interview is over, it ends when you see the microphone being completely removed from your person. Politics 101 people!

Now to the heart of the matter.

Mr Brown’s unguarded comments were made after the pensioner quizzed him about immigration claiming it was a taboo subject.

During their exchange in the street, Mrs Duffy told the Prime Minister: “You can’t say anything about immigrants.”

She added: “All these eastern Europeans – where are they coming from?”

Mr Brown said a million people had come from Europe but another million Britons had moved the other way.

Mrs Duffy also complained about people on benefits.

She said: “There are too many who aren’t vulnerable and they can claim, and people who are vulnerable can’t get claims – can’t get it.”

Mr Brown said: “But they shouldn’t be doing that. There is no life on the dole for people any more.”

As he went to leave, the Prime Minister shook her hand and told her: “Very nice to meet you, very nice to meet you.”

Amen, sister! You can’t say anything about immigrants in this country either without being called a bigot. Our president gives us pretty much the same treatment.

NFL Looks At Running Back’s Whiteness

PALO ALTO, Calif. – If you’ve seen Toby Gerhart carry the football, you’re well aware that the former Stanford halfback and Heisman Trophy runner-up is about as subtle as Iron Man. It’s no surprise, then, that as the NFL draft approaches, the player one AFC front-office executive described as “a bowling ball with butter knives” is hell-bent on obliterating the perception that he lacks the athleticism to succeed in the pros.
“I’m just a running back who tries to do what he can to win games and score touchdowns, but people have their opinions, and it’s kind of frustrating,” Gerhart said earlier this month between bites of pizza. “People say, ‘He’s slow,’ or ‘He’s not going to be able to break tackles at the next level.’ In college I went up against players like [USC’s] Brian Cushing(notes) and Clay Matthews(notes) – guys who ended up making the Pro Bowl [as NFL rookies] – and I ran through their tackles. It’s too bad people look at you all weird because of a stereotype.”

“One team I interviewed with asked me about being a white running back,” Gerhart says. “They asked if it made me feel entitled, or like I felt I was a poster child for white running backs. I said, ‘No, I’m just out there playing ball. I don’t think about that.’ I didn’t really know what to say.”
One longtime NFL scout insisted that Gerhart’s skin color will likely prevent the Pac-10’s offensive player of the year from being drafted in Thursday’s first round.
“He’ll be a great second-round pickup for somebody, but I guarantee you if he was the exact same guy – but he was black – he’d go in the first round for sure,” the scout said. “You could make a case that he’s a Steven Jackson-type – doesn’t have blazing speed but he’s strong and powerful and versatile.”

Policy Wonk: All Southerners Are Racists

You know, I’m wondering when you folks in the South are gonna finally have enough of this crap. Yes, there’s a lot to atone for in the region’s past, but it has been atoned…long ago. It’s not the 1880′s anymore when Blacks were being lynched, or the 1960′s when civil rights workers were murdered. Cultures change and the South has risen again, but in a more color-blind way.

Doesn’t matter, though. To the liberals, progressives, socialists, whatever…you’re all racists.

M.J. Rosenberg, a Senior Foreign Policy Fellow at George Soros’ Media Matters had this to say about our Southern brethren:

The whole south shifts to the Republican Party over one issue, they don’t like black people…so you have the racism thing, the fact that we’ve eradicated the separation of church and state essentially, which started I have to say when Jimmy Carter was first elected. As a Jew I noticed it — first president who talked about Jesus Christ, and that was sort of like, “whoa, presidents don’t talk about Christ!”…and now you have the modern Republican Party that has to cater to these racists and that gets me to my fundamental point, it is not that they are pro-Israel. They are anti-Muslim. They do not like Muslims. They are on the side of Israel because Israel is — they don’t like Jews that much to start out with, either — but compared to Muslims, they like Jews fine.

They’re infatuated with the Israeli army. Why? Because the Israeli army kills Muslims. I mean, this is what it’s all about….When you hear them talk to the, I don’t want to say the average American, but certainly the average American south of the Mason-Dixon line, “these Muslims” — well, someone said to me the other day, “how’s Keith Ellison doing?” Because he’s a Muslim member of congress, with all these crazy wackos wandering around, I said “how’s Keith Ellison doing?” and he said, “oh, they don’t bother with Keith Ellison, he’s just Al-Qaeda.” …

Not a lot of grey there, eh? Don’t even try to defend yourself Southerners. You are racists and that’s all there is to it. Media Matters has spoken.

A Cancer On Our Society

Rush Limbaugh responds to the NFL’s race-baiting debacle in the pages of the Wall Street Journal. What you absolutely have to take away from this: it doesn’t matter if you like or agree with Limbaugh, this practice of destroying reputations with charges of racism, charges which we then expect the accused to disprove, are about as dangerous and destructive to this country as anything out there right now.
